    Here's What Makes the Touring Edition Different

    AWE makes two versions of this exhaust: Touring Edition and Track Edition. The Touring Edition (this one) has AWE's 180 Technology resonator that cancels drone frequencies at highway speeds. The Track Edition doesn't have the resonator, so it's louder and more aggressive but it drones on the highway. If you're daily driving your Integra Type S, get the Touring Edition. If you're tracking your car and you don't care about highway drone, get the Track Edition.     AWE 180 Technology Kills Drone

    AWE's 180 Technology is a resonator design that cancels drone-prone sound frequencies. When exhaust gases flow through the resonator, sound waves bounce off reflection chambers inside the resonator and rejoin the exhaust flow 180 degrees out of phase. That out-of-phase sound wave cancels the frequencies that cause drone. You're getting a straight-through exhaust design (no power loss from baffles) with zero drone at highway speeds. Most exhausts either drone constantly or they use restrictive baffles to quiet them down. AWE's 180 Technology does neither. You're getting full exhaust flow with no drone.

    3" Mandrel-Bent T304L Stainless Steel

    The exhaust is made from 3" mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel. Mandrel bending keeps the pipe diameter consistent through every bend, so exhaust gases flow smoothly. T304L stainless steel doesn't rust or corrode. You're not dealing with rust holes in five years. The exhaust is made in the USA at AWE's facility in Pennsylvania using US-sourced stainless steel.     Integrated 3" Frontpipe Included

    The exhaust includes a 3" frontpipe that bolts to your factory downpipe or an aftermarket catted downpipe. The frontpipe's got a unique flange and gasket that mates to your factory downpipe interface while maintaining a full 3" diameter from inlet to outlet.     This exhaust doesn't have a valve like your factory exhaust does. AWE tested the factory valve during development and found it doesn't make a noticeable difference in sound. The factory valve's closed in Comfort mode and open in Sport/Sport+ mode, but it still opens when you hit a certain throttle position even in Comfort mode.
