What a Strut Bar Actually Does (and Why It Matters on the CL9)

The TSX's K24A2 makes solid torque and the CL9 platform handles well stock - but the strut towers are still bolted to a unibody that flexes under load. When you're carrying speed into a corner, the outside strut tower takes a beating. The unibody flexes at the tower mount, suspension geometry shifts slightly, and your steering feel degrades right when you need it most. Tie both towers together with a rigid bar and that flex has nowhere to go. Your steering response tightens up, especially during quick direction changes - think autocross, canyon roads, or just a spirited on-ramp.
