Invidia N1 Cat-Back Exhaust - 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S (DC5)
Your stock RSX Type-S exhaust is choking your K20 at high RPM. The factory exhaust is restrictive and it kills top-end power. The Invidia N1 cat-back exhaust replaces your factory exhaust with mandrel-bent stainless steel piping that flows way better. You're getting 5-8 whp through the mid-range and top end on a stock or mildly modified RSX. If you're already running a header and intake, the N1 exhaust completes the bolt-on trio and you'll feel the difference when you're pulling to redline. Mandrel-Bent SUS304 Stainless Steel
The Invidia N1 exhaust is mandrel-bent from SUS304 stainless steel. Mandrel bending keeps the pipe diameter consistent through every bend. Cheap crush-bent exhausts pinch down at the bends and restrict flow. Mandrel bends don't. You're getting smooth, consistent flow from your header all the way back to the tip. SUS304 stainless steel doesn't rust or corrode like mild steel exhausts do. You're not dealing with rust holes or flaking exhaust tips in five years. The exhaust comes with CNC-machined flanges that seal properly at every connection. You're not chasing exhaust leaks after you install it.
Polished or Burnt Titanium-Look Tip
You're picking between two tip styles: polished stainless or burnt titanium-look. The polished tip's clean and shiny. It looks stock-ish but way better than your factory tip. The burnt tip's got that blue-to-gold color shift that looks like a titanium exhaust. Neither tip changes how the exhaust sounds or performs. Pick whichever one matches your build.

Note: This exhaust is for RSX Type-S only. It does not fit RSX Base. The RSX Base has a different exhaust routing and this exhaust won't bolt up. Don't order this if you've got an RSX Base. You'll have to return it. The Invidia N1 is louder than your stock exhaust but it's not crazy loud. You'll hear it inside the car when you're on throttle, but it's not droning on the highway. If you want a quiet exhaust that sounds stock, this isn't it. If you want an aggressive exhaust sound without being obnoxious, this is what you need. Get your car tuned after you install this exhaust if you're running other mods. The exhaust flows better than stock, so your air/fuel ratio will change slightly. A tune will dial it in properly.
