    If you’re rocking a K20C2 Civic, you know the factory manifold setup makes headers tricky. Honda welded in multiple catalysts, so you can’t just bolt on a regular header and call it a day. The RV6 Performance catted downpipe solves that by replacing the section right after the integrated manifold with a cleaner, one-piece layout. It keeps a single high-temp 300 cell catalytic converter and features a fixed 2.5-inch outlet for easy connection to your existing exhaust.

    RV6 went all-in on design. They use a 304 stainless precision cast transition at the engine outlet that steps into 2.5-inch 304 stainless tubing. Every curve was modeled in 3D, fitment verified with coordinate measurement, and flow tuned for minimal restriction. The whole assembly is TIG welded with argon back gas for consistent, durable stainless welds. This is the same setup we run on our own cars when we want a simple, reliable K20C2 downpipe without going full race pipe.

    Why pick this downpipe? First, you ditch the factory multi-core cats but keep a proper catalytic converter. Second, the 2.5-inch fixed outlet makes connecting your front pipe hassle-free. The cast transition handles heat and stress way better than a typical cone-style piece—especially if you drive hard every day. Ceramic coating is optional, just note it adds 7–14 days to production time.

    Heads up: this is sold as a competition-use part. It may not be legal on public roads in some areas, and the catalytic converter itself isn’t covered under warranty. Castings and welds come with a 24-month warranty.
