Drop a valve keeper into an open port and your day just got a lot worse. You're pulling the head to fish it out - full stop. Drag Cartel's billet aluminum port covers exist to make sure that never happens to you. These seal your K series intake and exhaust ports while you're working on the valvetrain, keeping tools, keepers, retainers, and debris out of your cylinders. Machined from 8620 billet aluminum and hard anodized black, they fit tight and stay put. The factory plastic port caps are an afterthought - they crack, they fall off, and they give you a false sense of security. These don't.

Why Port Covers Are Non-Negotiable

Any time you're working on your valvetrain with the head on the motor, your intake and exhaust ports are open straight to the cylinders. We're talking about a direct path for every valve keeper, retainer, spring, or rogue socket that slips out of your hand. If something goes in, your teardown just doubled. Port covers close that gap completely. You need them for valve jobs, cam swaps, valve stem seal replacements, or any time you're cleaning valves with the head still bolted down. They're also solid insurance when you're storing an engine without manifolds - keeps the gunk out while it sits on the stand.

Billet Aluminum, Not Cheap Plastic
