Honda OEM Front Main Oil Seal - L15A/LEA1 Series
Leaking oil from the front of your engine on your Fit or CR-Z? If it's coming from where the crankshaft exits the timing chain cover, your front main seal's worn out. This is the genuine Honda front main oil seal for L15A and LEA1 engines. It installs into the timing chain cover and seals around the crankshaft snout to keep oil from leaking out the front of the engine. Left alone, a leaking front main seal will drip oil onto your accessory belt and eventually soak your engine mounts. Part number 91212-PWA-003.
Replace It While You've Got the Crank Pulley Off
Any time you've got the crank pulley off for a timing service or accessory belt replacement, this seal's right there and it's cheap. If it's showing any signs of seeping, swap it out while you've got access to it. It's a lot less work to replace it now than to pull everything apart again later just for a seal.
Fits Your Car
- 2007-2011 Honda Fit (L15A)
- 2011-2016 Honda CR-Z (LEA1 hybrid)
Compatible Engines

Specifications
- Honda part number: 91212-PWA-003

Note: Always replace your front main seal when you've got the crank pulley off. A leaking front main seal will contaminate your accessory belt and engine mounts if it's left to drip. Clean the seal bore in the timing cover thoroughly before pressing the new seal in.
