If you're running a turbo or a heavily built naturally aspirated engine in your EG Civic or DC2 Integra, your factory PCV system isn't up to the job. Boosted and high compression engines produce way more crankcase pressure than stock, and that blow-by has to go somewhere. Without a proper catch can, you're either pushing oily mist back into your intake or venting it all over your engine bay. The SpeedFactory 3-filter catch can fixes that. It replaces your factory PCV setup with an internally baffled can that condenses oil and moisture out of your crankcase vapors and vents the rest through three reusable breather filters. It's sized to drop straight into the factory battery tray on your EG or DC2, so mounting isn't a project.

Why Your Stock PCV Can't Keep Up

The factory PCV system was designed around a stock engine making stock cylinder pressure. Once you add a turbo, crank up the compression, or start spinning the engine to high RPM consistently, the crankcase vents a lot more blow-by than the factory system was built for. The internal baffles in this can slow the vapors down and let the oil and moisture condense and collect inside instead of passing through. Three washable breather filters handle the rest. You get proper crankcase ventilation without oiling up your intake tract or making a mess under the hood.

Drops into the Factory Battery Tray

SpeedFactory designed this can to mount in the factory battery tray location on 1992-2000 Civics and 1994-2001 Integras. If you've already relocated or deleted your battery, that tray is just wasted space. The can ships with an aluminum mounting bracket pre-installed, so you're not fabricating anything. If you're fitting it in a different car, check the dimensions to make sure it fits where you need it.

Raw Aluminum or Black Powder Coat

You can get this catch can in raw aluminum or black powder coat. The raw version has a natural brushed finish. The black version is anodized with a laser etched SpeedFactory logo that matches the rest of your SpeedFactory components. Both versions use billet -10AN fittings that are TIG welded to the can. The three polished breather filters on top look clean on either finish.
