Want to clean up your FK8 Type R or Accord 2.0T's engine bay without spending a ton of money? The Verus Engineering AC line caps replace the cheap-looking plastic factory caps with CNC machined 6061 aluminum caps. They're anodized in blue, black, or red with laser-engraved Verus logos on top. It's a small detail, but it makes the engine bay look way more dialed in. They install in a few minutes with hand tools and they're sold as a pair.

Why Replace the Factory Caps

The factory AC line caps are black plastic and they look cheap. If you've spent money on dress-up parts like a billet oil cap, radiator cap, or charge pipe, the plastic AC caps stand out in a bad way. These aluminum caps are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized in your choice of color, so they actually match the rest of your engine bay modifications instead of looking like an afterthought.

Different Inserts for Low and High Pressure Lines

The cap shells are the same size, but the kit includes two different inserts for the low pressure and high pressure AC lines. The low and high pressure ports are different sizes, so you can't use the same insert for both. The kit also includes two different O-ring sizes to match each port. Just match the correct insert and O-ring to the corresponding AC line port during installation.

Easy Installation

The caps bolt on using the included adapters and O-rings. You're not modifying anything or permanently changing the AC lines. Just remove the factory caps, install the correct adapter for each port with the corresponding O-ring, and thread on the Verus caps. Takes a few minutes with basic hand tools.

Anodizing Can Fade Over Time

Anodized aluminum can fade from engine bay heat over time. It's not unique to these caps—any anodized part sitting in the engine bay will eventually lose some color from heat cycles. If you want the caps to stay vibrant for as long as possible, consider going with black instead of blue or red since black shows fading less.
